Exciting news! MMC Gamuda has won the Best Project Award - Infrastructure (Major Category) for the MRT Putrajaya Line at the prestigious Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Awards (MCIEA) 2024.

Our win reflects MCIEA’s rigorous evaluation of unique concept, planning and design; innovative construction including effective project management and safety and health practices; and recognition from clients and stakeholders.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB) for this recognition and to everyone on our team who made it possible!

We are excited to announce that Gamuda Australia h

We are excited to announce that Gamuda Australia has teamed up with Ferrovial, to sign an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) agreement with Alinta Energy for the delivery of the multi-billion-dollar Oven Mountain Pumped Hydro Storage project.

The Oven Mountain Pumped Hydro Energy Storage project is an ‘off-river’ pumped hydro energy development located adjacent to the Macleay River between Armidale and Kempsey in New South Wales, within the New England Renewable Energy Zone.

When complete the project will produce up to 900 MW of electricity and will store enough water for up to eight hours of dispatchable, reliable energy at full generation.

The project is being developed by Alinta Energy, one of Australia’s largest energy retailers, generators, investors and developers, and is expected to inject more than $40 million into the regional economy and employ up to 800 people during construction.

The Group has secured its biggest win to date in T

The Group has secured its biggest win to date in Taiwan – a RM4.3 billion design and build contract for Xizhi Donghu Mass Rapid Transit (MRT).

Awarded by the Department of Rapid Transit Systems, New Taipei City Government, this project marks the Group’s seventh major infrastructure project in Taiwan, highlighting our ability to consistently secure high-value projects in competitive international markets.

An additional works contract, valued at RM10.8 billion, is set to follow upon instruction from the New Taipei City Government, bringing the total project value to RM15.1 billion.

Upon completion, the MRT alignment will enhance Taiwan's urban transportation network, connecting Taipei's Neihu District and New Taipei City's Xizhi District.
